Enneagram Life Coaching

In our Life Coaching sessions, we'll certainly draw insights from the Enneagram, but it won't be the sole driving force. It's your journey, and your needs will be the compass guiding our sessions. Your agenda takes the wheel, always.

I've personally experienced coaching that touched on various aspects of life—business, friendships, communication, marriage, and more. Life coaching is like an open book; there are no forbidden chapters. While we'll incorporate the Enneagram, I'll also bring tailored coaching techniques into play to assist you in setting and achieving your goals, tackling challenges and stressors, addressing matters like boundaries and people-pleasing, and releasing the grip of negative emotions. The opportunities for growth are limitless.

What is the Enneagram?

The Enneagram is often referred to as a Personality Assessment. While that is somewhat true, it is not the whole picture. This ancient tool captures the nine archetypal patterns of human behavior and can provide powerful insights into why you do the things you do.

The Enneagram is often referred to as a roadmap. It is defined by the belief that if we want to know ourselves, we must return to our True Selves given to us at birth. We lost ourselves along the way; the Enneagram is designed to bring you home.

Knowing your EnneaType, or your Enneagram number, can become a powerful tool for those who are ready to do the work of aligning with their True Self.

How do I discover my Enneagram Type?

There are many trendy online tests you can take to “find your Enneagram number.” However, the ideal way to discover your true type is by taking a comprehensive assessment and engaging in a typing interview with a trained coach. Learning your type is the first step in a greater journey of self-awareness and personal transformation. Your Enneagram type is not just another label, it’s the foundation for realizing your fullest potential and unlocking your greatest gifts.

An individual Enneagram typing session is a two-hour, one-on-one coaching conversation in a casual setting and is based on the results of your WEPPS™ (Wagner Enneagram Personality Style Scales), a comprehensive Enneagram inventory. Through curious questions, I will guide you to discern your EnneaType and help you create a growth path. The assessment will show you:

  • your preferred wing style

  • what you find easy and difficult to do (and what you may avoid)

  • how you may have learned this style

  • what may happen to you under stressful and secure conditions

how you can be more in balance

Ready to take the first step?

As a trained Enneagram Teacher and Certified Personal Growth Coach, I’m able to ask questions, observe your response, and share what I notice. I will help you discern your type and guide you toward learning more about who you are. Typing sessions are interactive and done safely in-person in a public space.

  • First off, the Enneagram is not just a personality test like Meyers-Briggs.

The Enneagram has ancient roots. However, it was made more widely known through Bolivian philosopher Oscar Ichazo in the 60’s and 70’s.

With the Enneagram now trending, it’s important to separate fact from fiction by digging deeper, and using reputable sources for information.

I’ve listed a few on my resource page.

  • I was trained to discern the WEPPS assessment results through Jerome Wagner, PhD. He is a psychology professor at Loyola University, a world-renowned Enneagram trainer and the person with whom I did my certification. The WEPSS is a standardized, reliable, and valid Enneagram inventory, the only one published by a major psychological test company and reviewed in Buros's Mental Measurements Yearbook, a respected authority in the testing field. I’ve also worked as a certified Life Coach through Learning Journeys since 2018.
